I've met many Lebanese/Arabic people who do that. But I don't, no. If you don't believe me. Ask the people on the forum whom have met me.

Hearing people talk when they emphasise that final syllable actually gets very annoying.

To be completely fair, Newy beaches are a merkin for rips. You got a ten meter safe zone that everyone cramps into, drift out a tiny bit and your dead. I've had to be towed back in plenty of times because the rips are just mental.

I learned to swim in Newcastle and spent most summers there between when I was born and when I left Australia. The rips canbe bad, but generally they're well sign-posted and the life guards do their job. I've never had any drama at all on a Newie beach.

Will be a cracker of a game. I don't think QLD are massive underdogs, but the odds seems slightly in NSW favour. QLD will come out strong and firing.
