To be fair and in Spains defense, most of their players, well at least their key ones, are well into their 30s and are past their best. It's probably why Barca and Real couldn't clinch the title this year. Xavi, Casillas and co are all past their best sadly.

That's not really a defense. It's not like people stopped breeding 25 years ago. They have good, young talent - they just opted to run with a team of names rather than a team in form.

What an epic 8 hours it was from about 8pm to 4am. Watched us finally put the toads in their place.Then stayed up to watch what was an awesome world cup game. We lost but I don't regret staying up most of the night which says it all.

I am on the England bandwagon. I feel the mother country is about to shock the world.
