Speaking of AJ, he bought into Soundwave. He was having trouble getting some bands to come to Oz because he is a hard arse business man and can be pretty arrogant, hence a few bands pulled out of negotiations last year and pulled out of the event, so he would not refund their bond and kept money even though they didn't even turn up.

Alot of people in the industry wont do business with him.

Lets hope he doesn't f**k up Soundwave like he did with the BDO.

Am I the only person on earth who doesn't enjoy music festivals?

Not a fan either. However for me I think it's slightly more the music than the people. I am pretty specific and even pedantic in what I like and wouldn't pay good money to see bands that aren't some of my favourites. I'm not really a fan of a lot of newer (00s) music either. Although Pearl Jam and RHCP are two of my favourite bands, so I was tempted briefly by them but realistically I was never going to pay the big BDO $$$ just to see them on their lonesome in a festival setting. RHCP was more tempting as I never got to see them live, but minus Frusciante the appeal wasn't big enough for me.

I've also already seen Pearl Jam twice plus Eddie Vedder once.

Oh, and I hate people...

I've been discussing this at length with Dragon2010 of late, but is anybody else a tad 'concerned' (not sure that's the word I'd use) that this place is so quiet.

At first I thought it was only mafia suffering a downturn, but looking at the list of guys who used to post regularly and have since faded away due to Real Life - it makes for sorry reading.
