Needs more Moffo
BDR disappeared too.
Some of those have been gone for a fair while Mis. Some of them weren't really that active in Superthreads etc to begin with (eg. Fred).
Two of those bastards are pretty active in s**t Drinks.
s**t drinks is full of gentlemen and scholars.
I find my FFB activity is dependant on two things; Uni Assessment schedule, and whether I'm mmorpging or not.
I think you're a little confused.
They don't like large groups of people, whereas large groups of people don't like you.
Was he over the age of consent?
- Hallatia - left
- Didgi - Law degree
- Monk - Work
- Frederick - Baby
- kungl - ??
- Eele - Personal reasons
- Jobber - ??
- Timmah - I think his work changed and he's now busy
- Cliffy - Boyfriend
- GKD - ??
All understandable, really.
I think you've simply identified the stagnation of LU in a way. The social aspects of any forum are the indicator as to the general health of the site.
IMHO.
Jobber's head got too big and he was ejected into space, lest he cause the earth to tilt off its axis.
He was born with a rare genetic condition that causes his head to continuously grow at a rate 3,479,393% greater than the rest of his body
I wasn't questioning the reasoning behind their departures/absences, just pointing out their absence has left a hole that hasn't been filled.
Is it LU? Or message boards in general?
I'd say LU. We've been doing well to reach 2014 from 2003, but every site unless they continue to evolve do begin to decline. (Which is not to say it isn't, just suggesting why people come to the site is an important aspect in retention)
In saying that, there's also seasons for these types of sites. We could be in a lull, and in two or three years time be back in growth again. Who know's?

Whatever clicks have been lost from those missing has been made up for with Rhino's activities in the milestone thread.
