Cameron Smith doesn't throw forward passes, it's just that the whole field and crowd and camera slide backward from the force, that makes it look forward.

Wow, that big Sammy Burgess is one hell of a player isn't he?

Don't think I've ever seen a player avoid a knock on call more than him. It's near Cameron Smith and SBW's ability to throw forward passes at will.

Didn't you know all the burgess boys never knock the ball on in a tackle. It's always a strip.

I can't decide what to make of my night.

- Dinner and drinks with my brother, his girlfriend, my mate, and two gorgeous blondes.
- Karaoke with more good friends.
- Discover I've lost my Chinese bank card.
- Flirting and drinks in my apartment with girl.
- Panic when I realise I can't find my passport, which I'll need to both replace my bank card and fly home.
- Find passport packed in with things I'd intended to ship home for some reason.
- Too exhausted to think. Pretty sure I could have/should have slept with that girl. It was her birthday, after all.

The strip penalty is a cancer on the game. Time to give benefit of the doubt to the defenders and only rule it a strip if you actually see it. Although if the refs think they are actually seeing a strip all those times they give a penalty for a drop-ball then all hope is lost.

I agree Apey. Ball security has always been a massive priority. Its only since the early 2000's that it has changed.

It's a by-product of gang tackling and wrestling. In many cases, there is nothing the attacking player can do to maintain possession.

On the topic of wind, the weather here is f**kin awful, looks like a night in with a few drinks, footy and pizza.
It was an ok day yesterday, then I started playing soccer. Midway through first half the breeze suddenly went real cold, then the rain came at half time as well. It was f**ked.

Just a warm up for Darwin, they taking drinking to new levels up there.
