I had a fantastic week.
Had a uni field trip, left early sunday, got back late wednesday, spent the time near smiths lake sampling fish, plankton, trees and mammals for an ecology subject. Big days, 6-6 with lectures later on as well, but Heaps of fun. Very school camp like but the food was heaps better and we could drink beers around a bonfireand wander off looking for wildlife at night if we wanted to. Lots of soccer, time at beach, and got to know some pretty interesting people. Had my birthday on Monday, didn't tell anyone but a mate found out, slowly spread around camp. Ended up a few of them organising an improved cake candles and gumleaf thing, was just really nice and made it such an enjoyable day. Felt very welcome, was great. Quite a change up from last birthday spent in NYC as well.
Two days of computer labs afterwards weren't so fun but still lots of midday soccer and even snuck in a run down to coogee/swim/run back after uni the other day before catching up with a few of my best mates over in Balmain.
Just a good, fun week. Makes up for how rubbish the next month will be with approx...6 asignments due in that time (pretty much within a week of each other).
