Same with shoulder charges in league TBQH.

But but but, horse owners love their horse and they give them the best possible care

After all the horse is their meal ticket.

It's kind of true though. Horse doesn't really have a choice. Hell Admire Ritiki was (reportedly) extremely resistant of going into the barrier, clealry wasn't comfortable, could've been scratched. Seems dumb to have crowd so close to the horses also, that other one getting spooked could've been avoided.

As for healthy and well treated, well the good ones are. They're the ones with some sort of a shot at surviving post career. The poor racers and the thousands that don't make it are just wastage.

I dunno, the more I think about it the more I'm put off by the racing industry.

It's concerning if those reports are true Red Bear. Admire was the last one in there but I wasn't paying much attention at the time. Forcing it to race under duress would surely see extra scrutiny for those involved though.

Sounds like the extra weights the horses have to carry is a problem as well.

Anyone want some horse Sashimi? Apparently there's a couple of Japanese guys in Melbourne trying to offload about 300 pounds of the stuff.

Very cheap price.

yeah don't know exactly what angle you're trying for here? humour perhaps?

either way, missed the mark and poor taste...

Shane Warne is more plastic than man...

it's getting almost cringeworthy watching him now isn't it..

he's a legend of aussie sport, but he just seems to be trying to hold onto his younger image rather than growing old gracefully..

or even disgracefully.. the public would even allow warnie to do that..
