What kind of geniused organization aims for TWO in six seasons. Under any circumstances, let alone from a base of 2 spoons and 0 finals in the last 5 seasons.

The Cowboys and Warriors who have all had considerable talent at times have gone a combined 40 seasons with 0 premierships. The Broncos with all their money have to go back 14 years to count their last 2 premierships. Cronulla has never won in 47 years. We are at 43 years. The Eels themselves at nearly 30 years.

A normal club would hope for making the finals every year and 1 premiership in 6 years. And that club would understand they could do everything right and still not get that.

Nowhere does Seward say that's a minimum requirement. It's something the club is working towards. And tbh with the right recruitment and just about the best crop of juniors I've seen from the club it's not unreasonable of things go our way. Maybe Souths could learn something

But man, when you're in the states they stand out like a sore thumb, because they are just whingers. They're often polite, but they also whinge, and aren't the nicest lot. Yanks on the other hand were sincerely generous and nice people.
