To all the people here saying that we'll be better without the best player in the world that our fullback will be Hopoate, the slowest fullback in the world, our centre pairing will be Beau Champion and either Ben Crooks, an English kid or Ryan Morgan, who was pretty abysmal this year, our halves pairing will be Norman and Sandow again and the rest of our team are young kids who'll probably in the second year. Now combine that with the fact that they'll collectively shit themselves because their best player has disappeared.

That's a wooden spoon candidate. Again ffs.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it.

From the moment I heard the announcement, I knew you guys were f**ked.

Like, proper f**ked.

That's the great thing about a suit - you can simply remove the coat and tie, and bingo - smart casual.

Was a major headache preparing for my work weekend last week. I had jeans and a t-shirt or I had a full four piece suit. Was doing my head in.

Thankfully, my fellow traveler helped me to pick out a few inoffensive and comfortable button ups and I was off to the races.

Hi Dani

It sounds like the church has done the right thing for you and your family - very glad to hear it :)

If it is a Catholic church - smart casual is about right. If it is a Protestant church (Anglican, Presbyterian, Baptist etc), depending on what service it is the dress code varies. If its morning, smart casual. If its evening, then jeans and a t-shirt is fine.

I hope that helps. Please feel free to PM me at any time with Q's etc that you want answered.

Anglican, 8am. Just wasn't sure about jeans ect and didn't want to offend.

Muzby pretty much summed up my thoughts

I'm not as fatalistic as most Eels fans. I think

8-Mannah
9-Peats
10-Mossop
11-Watmough/Moeroa
12-Ma'u
13-gower

Bench DeGois Junior Paulo Pauli Moeroa/someone else if Watmough comes next year

Is pretty good. The three quarters have the potential to score loads of points still. We need to get more out of our halves, definitely. And our defence. But Hayne isn't much help defensively anyway so that was going to be an issue regardless.

I'm not saying we'll make the finals, but I don't think we're Tigers/Sharks/Dragons awful either

Benji also swapped to a sport that is relatively similar (albeit inferior) then back in that time period. Hayne is going to a sport with very little in common with what he has played since a kid. And it isn't like he will be a punter like the AFL where all he has to do is kick a ball occasionally.

I wish him all the best, but I just cannot see him being picked up by anyone.

Agreed x10.

We're not saying you'll be better off. Just that the rest of your team will need to start putting more effort in.

We're going to be f**ked for at least a decade (I'm counting the past five years of f**keditude).

We're probably going to be the new Souths, 2029 here we come.

I do feel for you :(

Tigers>eels. Especially through the spine.

Disagree. Particularly since they let Austin go. I rate Brooks and Moses, but they're very young and just about totally untested. Tedesco could be anything but history shows his fitness is going to be a major issue. Farah is a cancer now. And the pack is ordinary IMO

At any rate I'm not talking us up as the best side going. I just don't feel were as bad as people seem to think.
