@BF. There's so many differences I wouldn't know where to start. IMHO, most of them are great and make their education system fairly solid, less stressful and quite well manager. Some are terrible and should be wiped our from every education system in the world.
What's good? Grading is more lenient if you show effort and dedication, professors are incredibly approachable, classes are shorter and more efficient (no more 3hr lectures) and a 4.0 GPA scheme is incredibly easy to manage
What's bad? Communication at times is a pain, in some ways, still a step behind technology wise, students are lazy on most parts.
What the biggest killer is, and what I'm struggling with is "dead week", it's basically the week before finals. A time in which, you still have class, you have all your major assignment due, major presentations due, lab reports and thesis due as well as having to attend all your classes and study for finals next week. So it's literally a week of non-stop hell.

So today, a student in the residence hall next to where I live blew a dorm room up with an aerosol can. Took out his room, damaged the wall, sent doors flying and such. He's in hospital with burns to more than 1/2 his body and second/third degree burns. Nasty stuff.
