Your excuse in itself is a cop out.
You lost because we defended better than I've seen us defend in years.
And we had no intensity in ours.
My point still stands.

so we got the Tigers next week, battle of the basket cases
You'd have to go back a long way to find two groups of fans dreading a game as much as this one.
How can people choose to live in Goulburn, it's too damn cold!

to be fair, not everyone lives there by choice..
that being said, i managed to get myself barred from goulburn as a town.. pretty much the only thing todd carney and i have in common..

Goulburn is a dump though, it's like Campbeltown only further away from everything

No, it doesn't.
Attack hasn't been our problem this year, but defence has. We were always going to cause you headaches with our attack - we have Radradra on our side, after all.
I don't disagree that you lacked intensity, but to suggest that that was the sole contributing factor to your loss shows no respect to a team that defended so well and stood up in attack when it counted.
Just because we have struggled, it doesn't mean our team is poor. Our side on paper isn't perfect, but our pack is good, and we have some attacking spark.
And our string of results over the last month has shown we're not far off where we need to be.
Lastly, our intensity in defence was higher than yours - we were physical and aggressive, and it undoubtedly took some sting out of you.
In summation, we were just better, and while you weren't at 100%, credit must go to the Eels for a gutsy, gutsy win.
