It might has well. It's not like I had high expectations - I did my first degree at UNE, and it's hardly a hive of activity.
Or maybe thinking swinging back into campus life at 31 would be cool is the error? Hanging with a bunch of drunk 20 year olds, living a lifestyle that's been done.
Nah, that's essentially been my life every year. I was running a pub crawl company last year, so being surrounded by drunk 20 year olds is nothing new.
My problem is that they don't get drunk often enough.
SGLC is on the money. Life here is just not particularly exciting when I compare it to what I've been doing.
Not to be the spoil sport, but is the drinking life what you really want?

I get active, the travel and the coming home, but why boozy?
Booze is something to enjoy, but not to build your life around IMO
see if i recall my days living at uni, i didn't get 'drunk' often - mainly only thursday, friday and saturday nights..
didn't tend to touch a drop on 'school nights'..
mind you, when i did drink on those 3 nights, i would put a severe dent in the water supplies to lidcombe and abbotsford..
i'd probably have a drink more frequently now (yes kids, daddy's drinking because you make him) but more to enjoy the quality & get a mild buzz as opposed to getting stupidly smashed..
I'll come spend a week when I make my glorious return.
I'll chuck in some training and show them how it's done.
It's hard getting people together for a single night's drinking some weeks. Sixty people on res and it'll sometimes be a dry ass week.
Early August.
quite clearly you haven't yet learned the art of tapping the water supply directly into a keg of beer..
