You've done China. Time to hit up SE Asia.Contemplating a Chinese return, but ill look all over. Japan or Korea would be good, but they work palefaces as hard as they work themselves. Maybe SE Asia? Money's not as important as time for travel and my freelance obligations.
wait till you hit 40
not quiet there yet

Going back to China becomes something akin to residency as opposed to a change. SE Asia offers that, plus a friendlier environment and more opportunities for new content on your blog. It's something I'll give serious thought too. Shit pay, but nicer foods, women, and environment.

English was widely taught. It hasn't been compulsory at schools for a while, with the government preferring students focus on Bahasa Malay. So the older the person, the more likely they are to speak English. Not sure on Malaysia either, but English is widely taught. Just about everyone under 30 can speak it in some capacity. Whether that's good or not, I have no idea!
I receive plenty of information about Phillo needing teachers Chris.

My friends who have taught or are teaching there are making so little that it's not worth it. Maybe if you want to live in Manilla you'd be okay, but if you want to be someplace nice (and why wouldn't you be?) they're paying less than Chinese schools.
but.. are you going for the money, or the experience?
afterall, pretty sure aussie schools would pay more than chinese schools..
