beware the milk run.... managers can smell them a mile off..

always great to show a 'standard' day anyway.. and for those customers that are a struggle, you just flag that with your boss before going in, and explain a few tactics that you want to try to bring them around...

besides, i found when i was repping it was great to have your great calls dispersed throughout the day (eg don't do them all in the morning) and throughout the month (keep some for later on).. kept the enthusiasm up, and also meant that you could keep some sales in reserve..

Well, today ended up being the worst day ever for me since I've been in sales. If it had been as bad as I thought it was going to be, that would have been an improvement.

Essentially, with the exception of 1 call, everythijg that could f**k up did f**k up. The first call I did with my boss I read completely wrong, and ended up coming across as a jerk. Next call was brilliant. The rest I got either people not turning up despite them saying "no need for an appointment, I'll be there", appointments leaving early, or made bookings with people who were the completely wrong people to see.

I'm getting proper drunk now.

we've all had shockers on work-with days..

best you can do is try identify to your boss where you think it went wrong & how you plan to recover those customers... and ask his advice for tips etc..

better to see someone show that they want to learn, than to have someone just carry on same old same old..
