I'm pretty happy tbh. Although the Cowboys have been pretty frivolous at times. We pretty much can't win without something herculean....but seriously, they came off at halftime and were reasonably close to being even pegging with the Cowboys, with 465 injuries, the season from hell off the field, no right to be in the game. Any sane fan is sitting there going hey, that's not bad at all, great attitude to stay in the game. Eels forum? THE WORLD IS ENDING ZOMG SHOOT EVERYONE WORST CLUB EVER!!!!!

Eels fans are disgusting. This has been an admirable effort with a halves combination that wouldn't win a NSW Cup game and a bench and backline that's just about as effective (bar Semi, who is superhuman). Ran out of puff after a lot of defence and missing a lot of players. Takairangi, Peats, Moeroa, Gower all playing injured. Pauli playing fat. But you'd think this was the 05 prelim the way they're attacking the side.

It's pretty depressing...honestly they dug in and had a go, just outclassed entirely. Which is not a surprise really. We were never going to win, despite fielding the worst halves pairing in the history of the club we should have been in front at one stage IMO and they were just fitter and better at the back end.
