I'd been really good about gyming up until this week. With my brothers both being gym junkies, I'd just tag along with them the four days a week they'd go.

Been super slack this week, as one of them is away. I've managed one gym session that amounted to 45 minutes on the elliptical. A far cry from my usual arms/back or chest days.

I'm getting pissed at people who think gym equipment is some where to sit and text about 20 of your mates while some one has to wait

"wanna share while you're on your phone ?"

"nah, I'll be finished in a minute"

afternoon

some people go to the gym just so they can check into the gym on facebook and tell people that they went to the gym while they wandered around on their phone and talked to people

Up until recently, my brothers and I have had the run of the weights room. With the new wind farm going in outside of town, there's been an influx of Brisbane metrosexuals intent on keeping themselves in shape.

f**kers.

Now I'm all booked in to get my shoulder needled up tomorrow afternoon.

oh needling is not fun..

i'm not a fan of needles as it is..

i've been battling an achillies sprain for the past 6 weeks.. have been getting weekly needling, including having those f**king things stuck directly into my achillies tendon..

not particularly enjoyable..

that being said, i've been able to start running again this week, so i'm assuming they work somewhat..

I have had a needle into my foot before, and that was horrible. I am not looking forward to getting one today.

Interesting day so far. Drop my brother's car in for a service, find out the previous mechanic essentially just waved a spanner over tme car and called it "job done", so much stuff is knackered.

Then go to my GP to get the referral for an ultrasound injection into my shoulder, only to be told he is not going to do that but recommends physio (that magically they offer on site) and seeing a specialist (who Google tells me is an orthopaedic surgeon, my foot injury was 13 months ago and has been treated), who would give me the referral for the injection. So now I'm on my way to Mortdale to see a previous doctor I have visited to get my referral.

What else is going to happen today?!

5 hour drive tonight, get to spend my weekend cleaning/repairing gf's mothers place to be ready for auction. Bank is kicking her out and she doesn't exactly get along with her daughter so listening to them shout at each other all weekend should make a long, awkward and painful weekend
