What happened?

Fast bowler injured. Replacement former grade fast bowler barred from playing by the club because he's a casual player and part timers are available. Then I had three out, and had to rest a player because the club had too many available in 5th grade. I refused so they picked for me. I get no say in fill ins, I wind up with the dregs and it costs us games. They rested my best slipper, we dropped two in slips. They gave me two fat slow blokes in a side that wins games on fielding, and that gets exposed. We failed to defend 185 purely on the chinks in the armour in the field and lacking a strike bowler.

The result isn't what's doing my head in, it's the complete and utter lack of respect for me as skipper

On the plus side I was there for a good 50 run stand and helped get us from 3/30 to 5/105 before playing a shit shot. Normally the latter comes a lot earlier

The character of Max was different to the previous three. It wasn't even Hardy's acting; it seemed scripted differently.

i thought it was a good movie.. Plot had holes all the way thru it, bit loved how it was non stop from go to whoa..

I found the action was reasonable. It also kept close to the originals in its portrayal. The 'world' was thoroughly evil and repulsive, so it fit the series. But the plot was odd and the person of Max was just not... right.

Despite this, I thought Hardy's acting was good. And Theron's too.
