Built a shit tonne of planter box things
Dug out and replanted a shit tonne of plants
Shovelled a shit tonne of riverstones into a wheelbarrow
Carted a shit tonne of barrows full of stones to back of house

Mad Max Fury Road is not the masterpiece people say it is.

I loved Mad Max Fury Road. Really enjoyable extended chase, a compelling female lead, and aesthetically stunning.

It was a little light on in character development, but that's pretty standard for the genre.

I found some of the CGI hard viewing but the landscape was grand. Furyiosa was a good character if cliched.

On this holiday/interview madness trip I have discovered that a tablet is no substitute for a laptop. I have also discovered that I think I would prefer a Hong Kong shoebox to a Shenzhen palace, the internet is worse than I remember. Good thing the missus works on the border.

Yeah, I tried the tablet thing a while back. Even with a bluetooth keyboard, it's still just not nearly as good. You just lose too much functionality.

Maybe a Microsoft Surface would do the trick, but my iPad certainly didn't.

iPads stink. I've used them in all bar one of my sales rep jobs, and they seem to be designed to make workinh as difficult as possible.

Got an android tablet, never looked back on apple.

Can't beat a good tower though....

I have windows 10, it's fine. I didn't mind windows 8 either. But I went straight from XP to Windows 8 (mid last year).

I have a samsung tablet, it's ok. It'll do its job on holidays and its lasted over two years pretty solidly.

People hate on Apple too much. The majority of the technology that is now in play is due to Apple innovation. They can't help that hipsters have ruined it for everyone.

I don't like Apple stuff, but I couldn't care less what people use. But there's no way they've innovated a fraction of what they claim to have
