urgh.

hungover. stupid christmas parties on thursday nights..

and to compound the issue, they are renovating the office under mine, and quite clearly this morning quite clearly must be 'drill the f**k out of the wall so that it reverberates loudly in the office upstairs' morning.

wondering how the tradie would respond if i go downstairs, grab the drill and launch it out the window?

pretty sure he'd be fine with that, yeah?

Last ever shift at my work last night.

I'm going to miss it quite a lot. I'm more than ready to move on to full time work, and I won't miss working as a bartender, particularly night shifts. Opening and day shifts were pretty sweet though, and I had a few of them the last little while. The work place itself though was great though, really fun, everyone basically got on, made working much more enjoyable. End of an era really for me, pretty good one. Probably a little bit of uneasiness about going into the real world next year also.

On a positive side, one of my subjects at uni was pretty much creating a workplace document for a business. Did it for my work and my boss was pretty happy with it. A few easy, good ideas to assist the workplace. She was also impressed with the presentation, looked professional as she said. Wanted to take it on. Rare moment of genuine work satisfaction i think, both because I got to explain it all well and it felt like I actully have developed improved skillsets over the last few years, and also leaving something behind where I have worked seems pretty good.

Bit flat today though, at the end of a work line and a couple of 'what might have been' thoughts in the head. And having learnt nothing in four years I barely drank any water/soda water last night at work when it was busy and have woken up with a headache after a shit sleep.

onwards and upwards mate.. some times we have to leave parts of our career behind to start on a new one.. but you'll most likely look back on this period with great fondness..

The downside to press trips is that they are always so last minute. Need to leave for Sydney on Monday if I'm going to Indonesia, but still don't have any details >_<
