hopefully they've at least looked after you from a package perspective..
don't let it stress you too much.. as scary as it can be to sit there facing a potential period of unemployment, just remember:
1. if you've got the skills and abilities, you'll get another job with ease
2. you'd be surprised how many people say that getting a forced redundancy has been one of the best things in their careers.. some choose new paths, others see it as a way to get a fresh start & new eyes, and then others just enjoy the extra pay that comes if you achieve point no.1 early on in the process.. (hell, i've known people who have been given advance notice of a redundancy, found another job in the time, walked out of current place on the last day, and walked into the new one straight away..)
