Not normally one to talk myself up but I am so drunk...but did have three moments as skipper today. Opposing skipper was killing us, 50 off half that. Hadn't played a pull shot all day, had a feeling and dropped square leg back. The next ball he played an awful pull shot straight up in the air to deep square leg. Secondly, slipped myself into Gully to a lad who was looking to smack it over midwicket...three balls later, my thirteenth catch of the season. And then last recognised bat, was planting his foot and slogging, got the quicky around the wicket and firing it at the base of off, bowled very first ball.....I still got it!
