I actually don't mind the move.

Broncos/Cowboys will draw in pretty much any round of the competition, to waste that on Round 1 is just going to hurt overall crowd figures.

Besides, I'd love to see these two play with a month of footy behind them. Round 1 games tend to be very sloppy.

Also Clarkey is in amazing form. He's defining his career right now and if he can wish us the Ashes he'll join some legendary Australian company.
