Dunno about DF, but I see a lot of SS bats in the local comp, and our keeper has just bought a brand new Sommers, which was a bit of a blast from the past

There are heaps of SS bats in out local comp, but theyre the Indian ones, not the English Stuart Surridge bats.

I was a massive DF user as a teenager. I had an AB '10000' bat that commemorated his 10000 runs, was a good bat, shame I wasn't a good batter.

M+H were the plugs, and moved across to Puma when they were bought out.

When I was growing up Slazenger + DF were the Kmart bats.

Did laugh when I went there last. Went to get my bat repaired, just a sanding back and oiling. Harry, the owner, served me (his son Hamish used to train me in the cricket academy next door). Took one look at my bat, hit it with a wooden mallet, and told me Id be wasting my money repairing it and should get a new one.

Always pretty frank those Sri Lankans!

I bought an DF AB 5 star from Kingsgrove back in the mid '90s, walking in there was like walking into a cricketers heaven. Amazing shop.
