Not a throwdowns fan. I spend most my time stretching beforehand so I can move at the crease.
Come at me (or should that be 'bowl at me'). I've always prefferred facing quicks to spinners. And before your ball got to my helmet it would be pulled to the square leg boundaryMight move to Coffs Harbour....buy a helmet BM
I don't do things casually, 2 or 3 months before season signup I'm going to be hitting the nets daily and practising to perfect 3 deliveries as an offie and 3 as a leggie. Once I put on the whites I'll be good enough to carve up the 4th graders. You'd be a great bowler BM. For the opposition.
Hard to play a pull shot when the ball is lodged in your throat.
Theres nothing lamer than tough talk cricket style
Modern bats are arse IMO...I dread the day my Slaz V600 gives up the ghost. Hate the feel of every modern bat I've picked up, and I hate the fat edges. Almost guarantees a nick will carry, seems stupid.
I was alive and old enough to be playing school cricket when the mighty Gray Nicolls scoop bats came out. Cutting edge and everyone had to have one.
