Not a throwdowns fan. I spend most my time stretching beforehand so I can move at the crease.

Can't wait till next season. Haven't played cricket since High school but am super keen to get back into it. Pretty good at middling the ball with the bat and I can bowl both decent offies and leggies.

As a leggie I was pretty good at leg spin and getting top spin and even managed to land the odd flipper (in the nets) after watching Shane Warne videos but I've never in my life been able to land a wrongun as a leg spinner.I just don't think my wrist goes that way.

Come at me (or should that be 'bowl at me'). I've always prefferred facing quicks to spinners. And before your ball got to my helmet it would be pulled to the square leg boundary

I'll take that challenge. I've cracked HAHAs helmet at a country carnival. I'm only good for 2-3 overs of proper pace these days. But its scary fast.

I don't do things casually, 2 or 3 months before season signup I'm going to be hitting the nets daily and practising to perfect 3 deliveries as an offie and 3 as a leggie. Once I put on the whites I'll be good enough to carve up the 4th graders.

Amount of accidents I saw on the road today was a joke. Two of them were those real "WTF? How did they manage that?" as well type of accidents. Ah, Rain + Idiots = Accidents.

Modern bats are arse IMO...I dread the day my Slaz V600 gives up the ghost. Hate the feel of every modern bat I've picked up, and I hate the fat edges. Almost guarantees a nick will carry, seems stupid.

Meh. Ask Marlon Samuels and his fractured facial bones about it. I'll continue enjoying the look of fear on a batsmans face when I bounce him, you blokes continue thinking there's nothing tough about facing what is essentially a rock hurled at you at over 120km.

We had one in our kit in about under 10s. No idea where it came from. Thing was rubbish :lol:

I dont wear a helmet batting, the old Albion Greg Chappell hat goes good. Anything short though I get under quick smart.
