If I were to take the thing alleging to be BM's brain and placed it on one side of a scale, and then dropped a split pea on the other side, the scale would drop so quickly that it would act like a catapault, sending BM's 'brain' flying into oblivion.

Really getting over the "tragedy porn" and "disaster porn" type news that the main commercial networks are delivering.

It's great to have rolling coverage and important to dole out information - but for f**k sake, get your reporters OUT of floodwaters and don't have them standing in gale force winds as it's pissing down.... and then don't insult our intelligence by having "FIRST ON [insert channel]" ads about it.

Nobody cares if you're first to have disaster or tragedy news, as long as you report it responsibly and in a timely fashion... without a beaming smile on your face indicating you're so happy to be reporting on loss of property and/or life.

It's the Americanisation of our media Timmah.

It's only gonna get worse.

BM and his bellyache were putting their make up on before going to the mardi gras. As bellyache was doing his make up, looking into a mirror, he said to BM "This person looks familiar" pointing to the mirror.

BM grabbed the mirror and had a look and said back to bellyache "You idiot, of course it looks familiar, it's me"

On Sunrise this morning, they had a live cross to a reporter at Bondi Beach who interviewed some well known local surfer. The surfer was absolutely wrapped about the surf conditions and told the reporter that everyone should "get out there" as the conditions were "perfect".

All this after they'd just finished mentioning how many beaches were closed and how big the waves were.

Sure, the guy was apparently a notorious big wave surfer but all the more reason not to interview the guy ffs.

I respect that some people have the skills and ability to handle 3 and 4 metre plus waves and thats all well and good. But how many young blokes whose ability is not quite up to par would have watched that and thought they could be a big wave surfer for a day?

Super irresponsible on behalf of channel 7 imo.

So apparently my ex updated his fb status to "Melbourne BDO was awesome. Thanks for the free tickets Dani"

Then promptly deleted it when my mum made a comment about taking it to her boss (she's a p.a. to a lawyer)

Take the fooker to small claims court Dani (lawyers can't be involved) but a lawyer can give you advice/ prepare your argument.

I keep saying to people that I can't believe he did it. The response is the same, after everything he did to me, they can believe it.

My parents want me to put in a claim for the money, other have told me i should press charges for everything else too. But honestly I'd rather never have to think about/see this merkin of a human ever again.

Put it off 3-4 years Dani, I'd love to be part of the legal team that stripped this shit-eating scum of the earth of everything you're entitled to.

I don't know why you wouldn't take it to small claims court. You will get the money back for the tickets no problems. If he wanted to go the festival make sure he at least pays for the tickets.
