:lol: We managed to install CS1.6 on the computers at school and we'd play. Me and my friend started it then a few people from other grades followed. Was a laugh when half the people during IT/Multimedia were on the computers doing "work" but instead playing CS. Funny thing was our teacher would often join us.

gaming is shit, IMO anyway. Fifa with mates is alright, otherwise it doesnt do it for me at all.

Got drunk during the superbowl with friends, that was pretty funny, played futsal just then, absolutely dead now.

Gaming varies like all forms of entertainment. At it's best it's a neat package of visuals, sound, prose and experience.

I went and saw The Legend of Zelda - Symphony of the Goddesses at the Opera House over the weekend. It was f**king incredible. Here is an excerpt of an email I just sent to a colleague of mine including links to my favourite parts of the show:

That sounds too gay for words. Zelda music is iconic in nerd circles. The only memorable audio in CoD is the sound of bratty 10 years olds screaming obscenities over XBox Live.

Man, Final Fantasy XIII. Longest... f**king... tutorial... EVER...

If i can make it through that, I can make it through any slow start. Any.

That game can get f**ked tbh. Haven't played it but have seen enough of it to decide it isn't worth my time. No story is worth a 20 hour gimped tutorial. And the characters all look shit. I'll happily admit that you may be right, maybe im missing something, but I'm gonna trust popular opinion on this one. Nothing about that game makes me want to play it.

GTA is the best video game franchise next to COD.

Skyrim is the best RPG around.

I cop a bit of hate for this but I never really liked playing the GTA series. I just never really enjoyed the game/story - anything about it really.

FFXIII was actually the first Final Fantasy game I ever played, loved it tbh (till i stopped playing). Wanted to get more into the series but just haven't had the time.

Play IX, VII, X, or VI if you're keen for 2D.
IX is best imo.
