Hayley Williams may be hot, she may even be able to sing, but her band's songs are unmitigated shite. Tuneless emo shit that isn't even redeemed by being remotely heavy. The association with Twilight is just the final turd on a double decker shit sandwich. Mind you, a hot lead singer with an ability to sing at least puts them ahead of Muse and Kings Of Leon.

yes, I think your stereotypical HARDCORE metal fan plays a bigger role in my dislike for metal music more than the music itself... only just though.

then again, this is bound to happen because I am anti-social so whatever :lol:

Plenty of reason to hate on Muse, the vocal abilities of their lead singer isn't really one of them.

Whenever I see metal being discussed I'm always reminded of this guy I knew online who tried explaining to me how awesome and hardcore Burzum was because the dude behind it had killed a man :lol:

and no, I can't stand the music, it sounds like shit to me, personal taste and all that... my point was that my dislike of the music is exaggerated greatly by my hatred of the entire fandom associated with the genre.

A fair proportion of metal fans are indeed dickheads. I like the music, not the subculture that goes along with it.

@Pete: Matthew Bellamy has a whiney, girly voice. There is only one bloke alive alowed to sing like a girl, and that's Barry Gibb.
