Kind of interesting Hastings is featured in the clubs’ socials today where it looks like they were doing the photos for when someone scores. Probably doesn’t mean anything but other than Sua, all the other players featured are guaranteed FG. I was thinking he was so on the nose within the club that there’s no way he’d be in any promotional content.

He’s still the best halfback we have. If he could magically find abit more speed and a less merkiny personality I’d be happy with him as our 7.

Hopefully we marketing him off to other clubs. Make him seem useful you know?

I’m very curious how we are planning on using Sharpe this year. He seems to be a “eyes up, play what you see” player. Quick, good footwork and aware. Wasted on the wing? Even though he was killing it out there late last year.
Do we keep him on the wing and give him some freedom to roam?

Training with the second team, so not in the starting 13

If those reports are accurate it's looking like:

1 . Ponga
2. Schiller
3. Gagai
4. Best
5. Marzhew
6. Sharpe
7. Gamble
8. Saifiti
9. Crossland
10. L. Thompson
11. Frizell
12. Lucas
13. Cant

Bench of Brailey + some combination of KPP, Elliott, Hetherington, Croker, Jones, Su'a, Hopwood

Yeah if I was coach I think I’d still be going with Elliott but I respect the swing on youth given the situation if that is the way he goes. Bit surprised if he’s gone straight to Cant over Croker. Hopwood would be the real upside bet but no point rushing him.
