So looking at it, I've work about 50hrs this week. Shit thing is, I ain't been payed yet because it's website/design work so I have to get it over to the client to approve it.

I usually don't spend so much time on this, but it's for a cousin so I'm taking extra care/effort.

Wow... Oscar Pistorious (the runner with artificial legs, they called him the Blade Runner) shot and killed his girlfriend after mistaking her for an intruder

That is supremely f**ked up.

I just saw that. I don't understand how you can make that mistake. I mean you would at least give them a chance to explain who they are before shooting at them. Maybe he was having bad trip.

Crazy news that Pistorious stuff. How does that even happen...

In other news, I haven't been on all day. (haven't posted in over 22 hours). When I have to go extended periods without LU I get sad. I'm very sorry for all the people out there that were missing me.

Remember that firstly this is South Africa, and secondly he's an influential public figure. Without claiming to know anything about the situation, I tend to think where he lives is quite possibly a dangerous area.

There is plenty of upside to being lonely, one is that every time I find a guy I like, there's nothing to stop me from pursuing him.

I guess it becomes redundant when I don't pursue them though.

Just had an information night for the new recruits starting at the QLD Police academy on monday.. As expected, my squad has one of those morons that always asks stupid questions. I can see it now, 3:55pm on a Friday afternoon, I can taste that beer already, and BAM she asks some dumb question that stops us all leaving on time. There is always one.

Its pretty funny how the Academy tries to act like a pseudo military environment though, to me it's just laughable, but I guess a lot of people will be intimidated by a dress inspection or a bit of drill.

He lives in a prestigious neighbourhood in a "heavily guarded compound". Apparently he was paranoid about his safety though and we're not the same when we're woken up in the middle of the night. Poor guy, he will be traumatised for life.

Apparently she was trying to surprise him for Valentines day. So there's every chance she was trying to sneak in quietly and unexpectedly and of course that would have looked suspicious to him.

I saw someone retweet her saying just yesterday how excited she was for Valentines. Tragic.

He and both their families will be affected by this forever.

Is blanket bashing used at said academy? :sarcasm:
