Must be a lot of people scared of contact or with long flowing shoulder length locks then in Australia, seeing as it's the most highly participated sport in the country....

I don't think you've probably even player soccer at a junior level, otherwise you would know just how aggressive it is and the lack of cheating/diving that exists

I'll let you guys in on a secret....

I spent two years playing soccer when I was 13 / 14. Reason being, I had braces and my parents wouldn't allow me to play Football. Once again JW's logic rings true.

1 person doesn't speak for an entire country. I think probably 3/4 of the rep soccer team also plays either union or league.

Most of the Firsts AFL team plays First XIII.

I'm not proud of those two years spent in the wilderness. If its any consolation, I broke a guys leg in two places with an illegal tackle in my last game and copped a life ban. Funnily enough, I'm also banned from playing Basketball at Auburn because I nearly broke some guys neck. Seems my Rugby League playing skills don't transfer well to other, less contact sports....

In Canberra alone there are 12 Divisions for Senior Men's Soccer, with 10 teams in each division. Rugby League would die for numbers like that

Not to mention 4 Masters Divisions, with a total of 31 teams

Just proves that there are alot of phaggy soft c**ks living in Canberra and a good number of them being over 35yo

With numbers like that, the ACT could knock of San Fran as the gay capital of the world

So were do you live, I can do a quick search of teams in your area. A good number over 35 years old? There are only 4 masters divisions
