I had the scorcher last night...pepperoni chilli onion jalepenos tomato steak.

It was an epic struggle. For a while I thought I might be defeated. But I ate the whole thing. Expecting ring of fire any time now.

you know we have reached the epitomy of culinary delights when we are comparing one pizza joint to another

Eagle Boys is horrible...Pizza Hut isn't much better. Dominos is the best of a bad bunch, but thankfully I have a Crust 50m up the road so I generally don't have to bother with any of the trash pizza places

Dominos is massively overpriced...

Only because they get high quality products and head office refuses to help out the smaller stores, meaning they have to charge higher prices.

It's ridiculous that such a large company does not understand how to run a business properly.

FTR I do agree prices are high, but at the end of the day, it's a business like everything else. And charging lower prices, particularly for smaller stores, would seriously send the stores broke. The profit margins are razor thin as it is.

/rant

BTW IMO Eagle Boys make a mean pizza; Pizza Hut is OK but their dough is dull; Domino's has good ingredients but uninspired combos; and Crust is a little over the top (I mean a chicken carbonara pizza? Come on!)

MC, all you can eat pizza hut George St.

As for Dominos v Pizza Hut...imo Pizza Hut is better and cheaper but it's time i settled this once and for all by buying both at the same time and comparing.

Eagle Boys > both

Well, Frenchy, given that "a la carte" simply means "according to the menu", I'd say ordering off a takeaway menu actually qualifies under the literal meaning of the term. Perhaps you should learn your own language, filthy Corsican peasant.
