LOL at the Angry Dad reference. Greatest Simpsons episode ever. Homer's reaction to Angry Dad was pure gold

I'm 79kgs and 30 here. I put on 2kgs while I was cruising overseas. I need to pick up my running again and get rid of this mini-bulge that has appeared at my waistline.

play for our sites touch team in the local gladstone comp. makes me miss playing footy much more. Touch footy is designed for people who are too small and skinny for league, not for 120kg ex props like me (also 6'4).

The last few months I started to get a real urge to play footy again.

Pity im 63 Kg's and terrible at footy :(

Always got put on the wing in my younger days but im deceptively slow, and also shithouse out wide. OK at fullback and could defend in the middle of the field well enough but delivery from dummy half too crap to play hooker.

One of my f**king legs weighs 63kg!

6 feet neat. Popped up to about 76kg at one stage while training about 10 hours a week.
Too lazy to get fat. Seen friends have to lose the weight. Far too lazy to expend the effort to lose it, so will not allow the gain.

Also up to chapter 3 of 'the gathering storm' in the final re read of 'the wheel of time'.

A fine series, that.

Had to stop after book 6 (Lord of Chaos??) Just got waaaay to political and a bit slow moving.
How did it finish up with a different author doing the last in the series?

Absolutely rattling along, loving it to bits. Start the series from scratch now and stick with it.

By book 12 all the pieces start to stick and it's unbelievably rewarding.

An unbelievably finely crafted epic that will surpass Tolkien given time.

Already have the last book pre ordered, signed hardback for January.

My mouth is watering right now. There is Lebanese places in Philly, but they are average at best and they don't make burgers. I have to learn how to make the toum (garlic sauce). It looks so damn hard.

It's just egg white, oil, lemon, garlic and a pinch of salt.

Can we sort out who is playing the other possies...

So the line up starts:

10.
11. Kia Ora Storm

I played every position under the sun during my illustrious career. My best years were in the 7, and I'll nominate myself for goal kicking duties
