Watched a couple of eps on a plane a week or so ago, where she is running for office (one where they go away for the guys 60th, one where knope is fighting that high profile publicist).

Have started from season 2, heard season 1 wasnt anything great.

Don't know what's more bewildering, Storm winning despite making 17 errors or Hoffman coming up with the play of the game.

Stick with it until Season 3 Bear. The show gets better mid-way through Season 2 but 3 is where every character hits their groove.

1 is alright but very tame and shares too many similarities with the Office. Pretty easy to get through though considering it's only 6 or so episodes.
