All African animals are awesome, even the homo sapiens. Unless they are poachers

For some reason, I always liked Giraffes. Really tall with a cool colour scheme, yewww.

I hate birds though, especially plovers & ibis'!

go to Canberra and see what the nations capital thinks of your beloved kangaroo.

Giraffes are the tallest creatures out and Africa have a Big 5, and giraffes aren't one of them.

African buffaloes are, those are such weird looking creatures

Birds and fish are just about the most pointless animals to keep as pets

Africa's big 5 are rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards and buffaloes

giraffes are uber tall and African but they don't make the list

Imagine living in pre-photographic times then coming ashore on the African continent and seeing a 250kg lion eating a zebra carcass. You would think you were on a different planet.

I always thought the contrast between African and Australian native animals was interesting. The savannah seems to be an arms race to the top, which is why so many of the animals are so f**king weird. Australian animals are soft and weak, there aren't enough big apex predators.
