It feels like 98-04. Wenger schooling Fergie all over again.

Did RVP finish last season as the best player in the league? Yes he did. Is 24m pounds overs? Yes it is.

He's 29. He's injury prone. He's had 1 fit year his entire career. Before last year he averaged less than 20 games a year.

Our first choice front three this year of Podolski-Giroud-Walcott is stronger than Gervinho-RVP-Walcott as a whole.

If we spend the money on one more good player IMO we'll be better on day 1 of this season than we were on the last day of last season.

Yeah most of the bands I like are before my time too.

First live gig I saw was Pearl Jam in Newcastle 2006.

Biggest regrets would be not seeing RHCP for By the Way tour (wasn't that into them then) and basically choosing not to see them for Stadium Arcadium tour because I hadn't been impressed by their live recordings I had seen. I don't regret my decision not to see them in 2013 though - by this stage it's no longer worth it for me, despite being a massive fan.

Couple of years back the Triple J one night stand was in my home town. I think it was End of Fashion, Shihad and Hilltop Hoods. Was pretty mental, I went with a couple girls and they all got freaked out and jumped the security barrier during Shihad. I ended up on my own getting utterly battered by people trying to mosh, it was awesome.
