You see Dave, I only hop on the forum during work time. You don't really think I'd waste my recreation time sitting at a keyboard reading your views on footy, morals, the state of the nation and what movie Maximus is making next, do you ???
Dave Q said:Rusty's playing a dark humoured Sherriff of Nottingham in a blockbuster remake of Robin Hood.
I didnt mean that you were hiding from LU duties either but I admire your work ethic.
The Preacher said:Thankyou Dave. It is hard at times though, to keep clients, owners and employers all happy when I also have to spend sooo much time educating those that have not graduated to being Dragons supporters. ;-)

The St.George Leader reports today that secret talks aimed at
fielding a joint Cronulla-St.George-Illawarra Premier League team
next year have been put on hold for the time being.
The main points of the article are:
* Sharks's CEO Greg Pierce confirmed a meeting with Peter Doust at
St.George Leagues Club.
More like a play group .
* At least one Dragons' board member had expressed strong opposition
to a Dragons-Sharks Premier League side.
* Doust agreed the JV was a viable option for his club. "Just as
Parramatta has linked with Mt.Pritchard and the Roosters have
Newtown," he said. "But nothing has progressed and we have to look
at the Carlton League options, so we won't be rushed."
* Cronulla may use Barden Ridge or field a proper Cronulla side if
the Dragons' JV is shelved.
Sounds good btw don't slam the door walking scummers.
* The Dragons' Premier League side may still be run by the
Shellharbour Marlins, Wests and Dapto.
* The St.George District appears to have been overlooked completely.
Story of the modern Dragons anyone or any place except the SGRLFC district .
* Illawarra are opposed to the Cronulla JV.
Russell Crowe's Band said:"in other news the new york yankees and boston red sox have decided to merge on a cost cutting basis"
deadset if we merge with you lot...ill set myself on fire.
The Preacher said:There's NO WAY I could ever support or be involved at all with any merger of this kind.
there seems to be one common denominator in this, and as the banner say's, it's time to.......
OUST DOUST !!!!
dont worry we will give you the matches..Russell Crowe's Band said:"in other news the new york yankees and boston red sox have decided to merge on a cost cutting basis"

this would be a nightmare of gigantic proportions, it must never be allowed to happen.Father Ted said:Well done Illawarra . St.George-Cronulla = Manly-North Sydney at any level is a disaster of the super league kind .
Ronnie Dobbs said:I'll join you, but not before both Leagues Clubs are in smouldering ruin.
Drew-Sta said:My sentiments exactly.
As I said, both clubs supporters need to rise up and fight this. If there is ever one thing I'll agree on with a Cronulla supporter, it's that this merger is one that would destroy both clubs at a supporter base.
Father Ted said:The fact that Doust even had a meeting about this prove's beyond any possible doubt in my mind that he is a man who must be removed from any position of power as soon as poosible . That anyone who even read about our two clubs history or knew how how our supporters feel about each other would think about merging after they tried to murder both our joint venture clubs during the S.L war should be covered in used cooking oil , feathered and run out of proper Australian society to some third world club like the Sharks where the damage he did would'nt matter .
Willow said:They're a million in debt and the club's gross profit was quite low.
from one point of view it makes great sense ...
We take the juniors from them and make it more obvious that the scum should be playing out of Gosford/Perth/Adelaide ...
Its a step towards pissing the off ...
However the cloak and dagger aspect of it all is a little shoddy
There was a time when being a Sutherland junior meant you were a Saints junior.
If this is part of a grand plan to re-engineer this, then I'm all for it. Long as we keep the colours, jersey, shorts etc.............
