Is Paea fat?
Hahaahahaha.

Did I touch a nerve?

I reckon they should throw the book at anyone found guilty of making racial slurs.

You on the other hand are more selective.

You think Gallen is god, cannot do wrong even though he was found guilty... and everyone else is racist anyway so lay off Gallen. But wait, Young should be found guilty regardless and fined.

Who's the hypocrite?

P.S. Funny thread: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=324326

we both know Gallen said it.......only one of us got my jokes it seems.
We both know Young said it.
The problem is ...he plays for the Dragons so you won't admit it.

for all the carry on and moral ground standing you blokes did whe Gallen called Paea a black merkin it is just hilarious now.

It is the exact same situation.
Only difference is Gallop was too piss weak to upset GF week by fining him.

tell your story to a dragons fan they might believe it.

Farrah heard correctly.

Some people jump to conclusions ridiculously quickly. Who is to say his team aren't blindly defending him? And out of interest, why do you think Daine Laurie was joking? I don't. The guy is a complete deadsh*t, anyone who hits their mrs is.

In saying that, the original DT article was so unbalanced it was ridiculous.

And Mundine, doing his bit for race relations again. Brilliantly intelligent stuff.
He lost the plot the moment nuffies like Mundine decided to poke their heads in.
The faster Tahu pisses off from the Eels, the faster we become a glorious club once more.

I KNEW IT!
I knew he was not guilty.....this whole thing reeked to me.

Daine Laurie's line was hilarious....he is obviously joking, but I thought it was great that all these players, both from the opposition team and Tahu's own team, have backed him and said it was the other way around if anything..

I knew he was innocent......and wow, Anthony Mundine, George Rose, all these guys sticking up for him, that's a very good gesture by the Man and all these guys.

Settle petal......it ain't over yet

If I were in the position Tahu is in and I didn't say anything and Mundine came out in support, I'd start to think that maybe I did say something after all....

good old Mundine, whenever you want a 'rent a quote' spastic, just call him, he never disappoints..........

this utter gem -''It's like an African-American footballer calling another African-American the 'N' word. You can do that because you're one of them and this is the same situation.

''If somebody of Aboriginal descent called me a black 'C', that doesn't bother me.''

Presumption of innocence is a fallacy , where was Greg Birds presumption of innocence , Where is Robert Lui's presumption of innocence. Where was Brett Stewarts presumption of innocence (The NRL tried to bullsh*t their way out of it by declaring he was suspended for being Drunk). If you go into a court of law and there were 3 or 4 Witnesses willing to testify they heard or saw you do , your pretty much screwed.

Is it just me or are people avoiding the fact that Tahu isn't actually black?

Just because you are of part Aboriginal descent doesn't mean you have the right to go calling people a black c***. Would someone like Laurie Daley be entitled to use the term?

just as the other articles allege he is guilty, this one is obviously written to support the other side of the argument, he does have alot of support in the indigenous community though

which one to believe ..................... :-k

Settle petal......it ain't over yet

its the Eels mate, it will never be over

Aboriginal footballer-cum-boxer Anthony Mundine believed Tahu was the victim of a smear campaign.

''He's a straight-up man, so if he said he didn't say it, he didn't say it,'' Mundine said. ''The media is against Timana, trying to make him out as a hypocrite and having less integrity. That's bullsh*t.

''It's embarrassing for the guy who came out and [made the claims].

''It's like an African-American footballer calling another African-American the 'N' word. You can do that because you're one of them and this is the same situation.

''If somebody of Aboriginal descent called me a black 'C', that doesn't bother me.''

I wonder what Mundine would say if Ben Jones called him that....

how'd you go during the finals.

i thought teflon did a really good job.

what's sad is that in the two games you lost, you played better than you did the game you won & could easily have won the entire thing.

the tigers had a saints '84 finals campaign.

He did well.

The knockers went real quiet (including me at times I might add).

2011 looks good.

Yep, and several other witnesses have come out and said it was the other way around; that the accusers were the ones doing it, and that Tahu didn't do it.
Whether I believe Mundine and Laurie, the fact is that George Rose and other people have come out and said that Tahu never said anything like that, and if anything, it was the accuser who had been saying stuff to Tahu.

This situation reeks to me.....it sounds more like a smear campaign on Tahu than a tangible need to expose a 'crime' by Tahu, if it even happened. I'm sorry, but there seems to be more evidence that it's the other people who are guilty than Tahu, and even then, it's all hearsay-so we don't know.

If Tahu got abused then thats a totaaly seperate issue ,doesnt give him a right to do it back considering his stance on the matter. If he is innocent then thats good cause of the stance he took , i got nothing against the bloke

How can you witness not hearing something unless you know exactly when the comment was suppose to be made.

At the back of Laichhardt Oval a few weeks ago Daine Laurie was reffering to a group of very white people as Captain Cook C&$%s. So I wouldn't be using him as a modicum of human behaviour

Mundine is starting to remind me a bit of Jesse Jackson in South Park..

"Anthony Mundine is not the Emperor of Black Footballers!"
