Wonder how far down the list Michael Gordon is. IMO he would be a far better choice then both Timana Tahu and Joel Monaghan. Yet he doesn't even seem to be on the radar for a jersey.

Didn't rate Tahu much for the side anyway, not sure Monaghan is any better.

I've got no idea what system of logic these selectors use.

Apparently had a blue with one of the players, according to Triple M. They're having a press conference shortly

That would be desperately disappointing.

As bad as it sounds, I was hoping it was something like a death in the family.

How does Nathan Merritt not get a run?
Nathan Blacklock was the NRL's leading tryscorer 3 years running and couldn't get a go. The year he was on fire and had his best chance of selection, he scored a miracle try in the 80th minute to win the game for the dragons over the tigers on the day before the squad was announced. He had to be picked but wasn't.

Andrew Webster is reporting Andrew Johns said something to team mates in front of Tahu, and Tahu apparently took major offense to it.

I meant I was hoping it would be something completely apart from footy.

I obviously don't want anything bad to happen to any member of a player's family - especially Tahu's family.

A blue in the NSW camp (if true), regardless of who it involves, would hardly be a positive event in the team's preparation for Wednesday night.

Gould would probably say the Football Gods are set against NSW in Origin.

Strange considering how much man love Johns seems to have for Tahu in his newspaper columns and such. Plus being former teammates.

Anyway, it's still all rumour at this stage.

well the rumour was that he said something too teammates in front of Tahu, not a comment too tahu in front of teammates, only thing I can think of is racial Aboriginal slur about the QLD side? But I doubt Tahu hasn't heard it all before.

I guess the press conference will reveal the truth.

PARRAMATTA winger Timana Tahu walked out on the NSW Origin side after a personal fallout with assistant coach and former Knights teammate Andrew Johns.

Despite the seriousness of the matter, a "shattered" Johns has not been dismissed from the camp.

It is understood that a remark that Johns said earlier in the week in Tahu's presence had offened him. He asked coach Craig Bellamy if he could leave the camp and left yesterday afternoon.

"Earlier in the camp I made some comments which Timana Tahu deemed inappropriate and offensive," Johns said.

"My comments weren't directed towards Timana, they were about myself and Timana's deemed them to be offensive and inappropriate.

"I'm really upset and shattered. We go way back. I've known him since he was a kid. Unfortunately, we had a day off yesterday and I didn't get a chance to see 'T' before he left. I've been trying to call him.

"It's a private matter between myself and him and we'll talk in the next couple of days."

Tahu has been replaced by Canberra star Joel Monaghan was rushed into the side last night. He was cleared of a thumb injury before joining the camp yesterday.

"It's something you would rather not deal with but you have to respect Timana's privact privary and his views, which we do," team manager Craig Young said. "In relation to Joey, he's very shattered. He's obviously very passionate about NSW. He'll get back on the bike today and he'll get on with it."
