Says as lot when an official didn't know there was a contact version of league for juniors.

Well that is what I was told by a totally reliable source. Doesn't matter though. There is no contact version of the game down here any more anyway. The bods that need stats have 10000 of them playing touch rugby league.

Nrl tas is holding a meeting in may to try and reform the comp after it disintegrated in January. The problem will be the lack of leadership and direction from the nuffies who mismanage the affiliated states program in Sydney. The response so far from local league people has been underwhelming as we have just been severely burnt by all our work being spiralled down the drain after five years of work. I am led to believe that nrl central is insisting there must be a comp in Tassie but does not understand the problem.
