There is a good reason why Moga has been to a 100 clubs. Definitely has some talent.....but every single club eventually lets him go. Ball hogging and decision making come to mind when I think of Moga.

Not a winger, but Peter Jorgensen after having his hamstrings replaced with theatre drapes was probably the slowest outside back I have ever seen.

What Moga lacks in pace is made up for in strength and positional awareness...

...yeah, even I don't believe that.

Not even in the top 20 slowest, there was a guy who played on the wing for the Cowboys last year called (who shall remain nameless) who had the pace of Martin Bella, the turning circle of an Naval Destroyer combined with hands made of concrete.

he aint that slow - plenty of slower wingers - and doesn;t he normally play centre?

problem was, he didn't even try to head infield and use his size

He may be a centre originally, but as a centre or a winger, he is slow, at least over 90m. Agree he should've come in. The worst possible result was handing the ball back, and that's what happened.

I once saw this bloke take an intercept in the final minute against Canberra. I figured that was game over so headed to the car to beat the rush. I got home, put the kids to bed, had a dump and a shower, porked the Mrs, fed the dog. made a coffee and turned the telly on to check other results and caught the end of the game in real time to watch him trundle the final 10 metres and collapse over the line to score.

Best part is it's a true story.

The writer took a few liberty's with the "sprinting" part in the first paragraph, but it happened. I can only assume the Raiders players being well acquainted with Spurty Purts figured some f**ker would round him up as they all headed to the sheds. They thought they had won the game until they stopped at Goulburn Maccas on the way home and caught the Panthers players celebrating on the telly as Purts lay on the ground clutching his chest.
