Only thing I can find is drinking before a game many years ago. You'll have to ask those who've made this decision.

can you explain why Milford who had his charges dropped hasn't been reinstated yet May who has charges hanging over his head is free to play?

NRL is all about image.

Milford's alleged offence was against a woman. The NRL are soft like that

Take their time with what? Charges dropped if Police see no issue with the CCTV footage then what is there for the NRL to take their time with
NRL were obviously hoping the courts would do their job for them, the court proceedings did not go the way the NRL was hoping and now they've been caught with their pants down.

Does seem like a NRL level inconsistency that Milford (who has now been cleared) can’t play while May (who has been charged) is able to play.

The salty little bunny fan was lucky that May didn't use his fists. Sounds like the dick got what he deserved. He'd been carrying on for a few hours apparently and eventually got himself evicted. May should be commended. Reprehensible lol.

Just so no one misinterprets this, you think grabbing someone from behind in a three in 1 situation is sweet, and would have also been ok with May throwing a punch from behind?

You also have full knowledge of the facts, and have viewed all CCTV presented in court?

I do have to laugh at the Magistrate... Calls the act "Reprehensible" and "cowardly", then just issues a fine and doesn't record a conviction.
You have fallen for the old Fox League News trick; who knows what the Magistrate actually said and what the context was.

Could have been;
- ‘You were drinking XXXX all night; that is reprehensible.’
- ‘You mate was being bugged all night and you cowardly let it go for a few hours’.

EDIT; I don’t know what the magistrate said, and I am not trying to defend May; sounds like he acted in a stupid way. These things don’t get taken to court frivolously. My point is that you can’t read the article above from Fox League and get a detailed understanding of what the magistrate was thinking.

At the time the NRL looked into the footage and statements by the staff. They took no action.
