Fulton's role can easily be taken on by Santi or Lovett. Santi alone offers more in attack. His run and quick play the ball set up one try while he ran and drew a defender for Koroibete's first try. Santi is a footballer. Lovett offers size and defence. Vela is an impact forward.

Dallas Johnson was moved on from the Storm without an appreciable impact on their game.

Wow, some of you have absolutely no idea.

R2c Fulton was one of a small handful of tigers that were actually decent in 2012. To replace him is ludacris.

Glock vela has been injured since round 4 however trained the Pre season with the top squad and McDonnell said if not for injury he would have played first grade. Santi was one of the tigers best all year however payten wanted the biggest possible side starting. He would come on after 17-18mims and play the rest of the game. I'll be shocked if he doesn't play first grade next year.

I liked Santi on Sunday, but the two starting props and 17 really impressed as well. Lovett I know people rate highly, but he didn't stand out on Sunday (was good though)

What is Mulachy's story? Came in very late in the season? Is he eligible for Under 20s again next year?

We shouldn't jump the gun too much on our under 20's players. The reality is that only maybe 2 or 3 players will become regular first graders for their career. There is a massive gap between the NYC and nrl, there is a big gap between NYC and nsw cup. These players will take time, most will need to make the step up to nsw cup before being looked at for first grade.

That is not quite true, if you go back to most of the GF winning teams it is more like 5-7 players end up making first grade (not immediately but over the next 2-3 years) and drops back to 2-3 as you move down the table.

Just from the 09 Losing team have come Mullany, Lui, Dwyer, Woods, Fifita and the second rower who played a couple of games until he forgot his passport whose name escapes me. Take injury and being a shit human being out of that and it is a pretty good crop

Our 09 team was pretty special. All those guys plus Jason schirnack and pat politani played grade. One of the bench forwards also played first grade with souths this year. Rhys curren has been 18th man a few times, If his career didn't get ruined by injured one of the wingers josh Jackson could have made it as he was about to sign a 2 year deal prior to breaking his leg in 2010.

Looking at previous U20 GF winners each team has produced a number of first graders with a few stars from each team.

2008
1. Josh Dugan
2. Drury Low
3. Jarrod Croker
4. Daniel Vidot
5. Michael Brophy
6. Michael Picker
7. Matt Smith
8. Andrew Edwards
9. Travis Waddell
10. Nick Skinner
11. Jarrad Kennedy
12. Zach Merritt
13. Shaun Fensom
Subs:
14. Brock Dunn
15. Justin Carney
16. Todd Rheinberger
17. Levi Freeman

2009
1. Gareth Widdop
2. Sam Joe
3. Justin O'neill
4. Pita Maile
5. Matt Duffie
6. Dane Chisholm (might have played first grade or probably will)
7. Luke Kelly
8. Pulou Vaituutuu
9. James Woolford
10. Kenny Bromwich (will probably played first grade next year)
11. Robert Rochow
12. Theodore Stuart
13. Billy Rogers
Subs:
14. Jai Jones-Wiegold
15. Jordan McLean
16. Kevin Proctor
17. Fred Makimare

2010

1. Glen Fisiiahi
2. Omar Slaimankhel
3. Sosaia Feki
4. Siuatonga Likiliki
5. Elijah Niko
6. Carlos Tuimavave
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Neccrom Areaiiti
9. Elijah Taylor
10. Mark Ioane
11. Matt Robinson
12. Ben Henry (C)
13. Sebastine Ikahihifo
Interchange:
14. Nafe Seluini
15. Charlie Gubb
16. Sam Lousi
17. Daniel Palavi

So if the above teams are any indication we can probably expect a fair few of the 20s to play first grade at some point in the next 2-3 years. Whether they make the transistion is another thing though.

I haven't seen all of the grand final yet but I was really impressed by Paasi against the Roosters in the semi. Could be a potential first grader down the track.

Payten's coaching was super impressive this year. If we didn't have so many of his former teammates still on the roster, I'd seriously consider him for the top job.

Maybe in a few more years.

From the 2010 warriors Matt Robinson is at penrith and looked very good in a few first grade games this year. The 8 was the bench player for us in 09 that played for souths this year, Sam Lousi also played first grade this year. So the warriors have had 12 of their 2010 side play first grade.

We've had 2 so far, as far as I'm aware we haven't lost anyone to another team so let's how many more we see in first grade

Tedesco
Utai
Lawrence
Tuqiri
Koroibete
Sironen
Marshall
Galloway
Farah
Woods
Fulton
Pettybourne
Anasta

Murdoch-Masila
Bell
Groat
Moltzen/Iosefa

It's just a stab in the dark, Not sure if Moltzen will be there next season but I think Tedesco is worth persisting with over him anyway.

What I'd like:

1. Tedesco
2. Tuqiri
3. Ayshford/Simona (wOuld be willing to give Blake a crack under a new coach)
4. Lawrence
5. Kotobiete
6. Marshall
7. Miller
8. Woods
9. Farah
10. Galloway
11. Anasta
12. Fulton
13. Blair

14. Utai
15. Murdoch-Masila
16. Pettybourne
17. Bell/fotuaika

I for one actually like the anasta signing. I think he is exactly what this side needs. Wont be scared to tell benji he is an idiot when he throws a stupid pass or overcall him if he sees something on.

Yes, Thompson is an outstanding prospect and a great buy. Look at the pedigree of the players through Keebra to Tigers and it is hard to argue the talent.

Ben Te'o
Bodene Thompson

Mosese Fotuaika

Hmmm interesting choice for team. Why would you want Blair at 13 and Anasta at 11? Blair has no playmaking skills and IMO we need a lock who can play as a 5/8 style 13. Anasta is a fantastic playmaker and has solid kicking game.

Ayshford is gone from Tigers btw. I would also pick Simona as replacement. He's fast and he has decent size...can also play fullback if needed
