Can anyone post a list of contracted players that will likely be playing in the 2007 Jets team come kickoff time next season ???? Have surfed the Roosters websites and have some idea, however it would be good to see a team list......Can you help us out Jeffles or Bluebag ????

Is it true that Cliff MANUA has signed for eg ??? What has happened to players like Le BRETON, VIAL etc ( endless list ) has anyone been retained at all for premier league duties in 2007 ????

Big question I know, but am so darn curious to see a CONFIRMED list guys. ;-)

****just found one myself whilst on the NSWRL forum. Willie BROWN has signed with the Roosters/jets for 2007 from Jim Beam Cup.....****

This from someone who apparently knows his game ??!!***

Willie is a mean player and I wouldnt like to be in the opposition team playing against him

He also played in the International Samoan side 2005 with 2x other JBC players Francis Betham and Chan Ly.

He has been offered many contracts with other premier sides and has turned them down.

He will go well and wish him all the Best!!!!!!!!!

*** Sounds good guys, who else though ??? team list would be awesome !!! ***

WILLIAMS who saved that try in the grandfinal should be good if he runs with the Jets, and so should that bloke from the saints semi final side who scored the try against us in the semi ( name currently slips me ) !!

Assuming that without any injuries, our First Grade team will look like:

1. Anthony Minichiello
2. Amos Roberts
3. Iosia Soliola
4. Joel Monaghan
5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall
6. Mitchell Aubusson
7. Josh Lewis
8. Danny Nutley
9. Craig Wing
10. David Shillington
11. Nate Myles
12. Craig Fitzgibbon
13. Braith Anasta

14. Chris Flannery/Ash Harrison
15. Nigel Plum
16. Anthony Tupou
17. Chris Beattie

...then the Newtown Jets in PL will probably field the side:

1. Shaun Foley
2. John Williams
3. Setaimata Sa
4. Sam Perrett
5. Vince Mellars
6. Jamie Soawrd
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Charlie Tonga
9. Heath L'Estrange
10. Shane Shackleton
11. Mickey Paea
12. Lopini Paea
13. Ash Harrison/Chris Flannery

14. George Ndaira
15. Adam Schubert
16. Frank-Paul Nuuausala
17. Steve Meredith

18. Danny Williams
19. Willie Brown
20. David Pangai
21. James Shillington
22. Grant Millington
23. Rory Kostjaysn
24. Anthony Cherrington
25. Anthony Watts
26. Stanley Waqa
27. Nim Ngata
28. Codie Medway
29. Aaron Lai
30. Dale Newton

Anderson actualy saw him play in that international match....he was destroying the opposition and Anderson was impressed. He has shed some kilos and will provide good depth. Id love to see both him and Tonga on the field at once next year. Those that have seen charlie's recent training photo, will be impressed with his new "ripped" physique. He is cut and massive. Very quick in the sprints at training also and if Charlie produces some form like rnd 26 against the Dragqueens last year, he will be awesome next season.

Here he is:

I take it as a sign of respect that you like my Charlie material. More to come throughout the season :D.

I wish that Anderson had seen Ritchie Parker play then as he dominated Willie and the other props all year and played through pain every week.

2TB I know you are keen, but mate, my pre season preparation is not complete yet.

Wait till you see the 07 model BTJ.

It will be interesting to keep an eye on how WILLIAMS ( try saving grandfinal player for Parra ) BROWN, PANGAI and Ndaira go if they run with the Jets in 2007. Have always fancied the playingstyle Ndaira when he played for saints. The bloke even scored one of their semi final trys against us in 2006.

Looks pretty darn good on paper guys and gals. This team will be very competable and hard to beat come 2007, if the injuries in first grade are hopefully at a minimun.

Settled on the squad above. Best balance. Not going to change that for a long time either, i'ma stand by it till 2008.

Got to admit though, Charlie is definately a looker. :p One sexy individual.

Saw him a few times in GB. Looked tough as nails, but far too sluggish for NRL. He had the ability to lumber towards the line & bump off the first defender, much like Beattie, but didn't have the extreme explosiveness & X-factor of Brown. Good player though. How old is he?

Ritchie, has the ability to play more minutes, makes more tackles and hitups per game and played the majority of the year with a back injury and when we played Windsor in the semis at Kogorah he backed up to play PL against the Dragons with a jaw injury.

He needs someone to work with him with footwork as he is very raw and never had anyone help him. He never lets you down and has a lot of potential and when growing up he lived in the US and played high school American football so when he hits they stay hit.

Is Ritchie Parker staying with Newtown or has he signed for another club?
