A key ring and hat. I mean how many hats does a man need?
How about a choice of a $50 voucher to a local restruant instead?
I am sure this would be great advertising for the restruants as well and many would be prepared to give the club atleast 50% of the value.
Hats. Enough with the hats
Because the $50 voucher is worth $50 .... the hat n keyring is worth $4.50

Trying on 2 or 3 devices results in more traffic and a slower website lol
Actually I dont think it does to be honest.
I reckon they have limits on the ticket processing side of things so they put everyone into a queue on an external server and allow x number in when it opens and then 1 in - 1 out keeping capacity on their main system consistently high but within acceptable limits. Being on multiple devices wouldnt be an issue unless of course they are checking IP address/MAC addresses and if they are doing that, they would just bounce subsequent connection attempts.

I reckon the delay was because of the queuing while waiting for a "vacancy".

No. The restruant gives the voucher. The $50 probably costs them $25 and high chance they make that back in what your meal costs, drinks, advertising, repeat business. Maybe the club could subsides them $15 or something.

Charging you $60 for a $20 seat mate.
I need the extra cash for my coffee and eggs.

Coffee and eggs. Lets all meet for coffee and eggs on toast and talk about our lives.
I'll watch it on the box with a frozen pie or pizza and a vb.

Ok, a "slower website" is not right - the captcha and sit tight message were performing wonderfully well .... but swap it for "slower result" due to a larger queue

Nah, I think it's a sure sign he's an old Codger now.

"I'll complain to the club"
"I'll complain to the council"
"I'll complain to the Premier's office"
"I'll complain to PM's office"
"I'll complain to Her Majesty's office"

The last one's not likely to help right now.

I think the solution is ticketek need to stop being brain dead and releasing a high demand concert tickets on sale for 2023 at the same time 2 major sporting codes in Australia have the semi final and preliminary finals tickets go on sale for the following weekend.

Release the concert tickets on a Thursday once the finals have been sorted and everyone wants to go would have got a ticket by then.
