Is the Riverina now more AFL orientated.

That is what i would consider Canberra's catchment for players.

Wagga i believe for example is more an AFL town then League these days.

Clay Webb is actually from Gundagai, but yeah I haven't seen many players come out of Wagga in recent years.

It's funny, for someone whose lived in Canberra virtually their entire life, Fyshwick to me is about dodgy used car yards, furniture and other household shops and Harvey Norman. I've never really seen Fyshwick the way people outside of Canberra refer to it.

Ticketek need to go to and talk to Qantas about how to take peoples money online. Qantas on the other hand, once they have got your money, that's where the customer service experience abruptly ends.

At least with ticketek its online you can do other things.

Qantas when you are stuck on the phone you literally can't do anything else as you have the phone on nearby to garbage background for 2 hours.

Yeah, I work from home mainly, so I just have the phone on hold....I've literally sat there all day on hold in the past.

But yeah I don't know how people get on who have a "real" job where working from home isn't possible.

Can't wait to see what that mad merkin, BA, will come up with in the way of team selections today. Personally, I'd replace Waqa with Simmondson. I'd also bring N. Brown or Cartwright onto the bench. But what do I know?

It's interesting that all the experts or former players are in unison that if Moses doesn't play we can't win.

Isn't that them basically saying we can't win with Jake playing without actually saying his name.

You would think with the other players we still have in the side we would be a hope.

Yep…..Obviously tough without Moses, but reckon we will still win with JA at HB….and he will have a solid game…

interestingly even with JA, we have more experience in the spine, they basically have 2 rookies in savage / Woodford…so no excuses…

it suits the media to play down our chances …..

Our entire game revolves around the fact that Moses can kick the ball 50-60 metres and land it in a corner inside the oppositions 20....from virtually any position on the field. I think he has the best long kicking boot in the game, and it is what has won us many games where otherwise we've not really done anything well as a team that had really contributed to winning the match, it's all reliance on the brilliance of the individual. No other player in the club can replace this, which is why we struggle when he doesn't play.

I don't think we'd score a try or come within 30 points of the Raiders if Moses doesn't play.

But if Moses is ruled out later in the week, then whose the backup half to go to the bench?

From what I have read so far, we need a backup for the halves on the bench. So does Jack A WIlliams come onto the bench with JA taking the 7 possie? I guess we will see Perham on the extended list

Eels played cowboys in a prelim that season.

If JA comes to the side, we don't need a backup half. We'll jus need to pray.
