Both proud clubs have the 2 longest premiership droughts in the NRL.

Both clubs are similar in nature both have had one successful golden era parramatta in the 80s and Canberra in the early 90s. But nothing since.

my prediction, raiders will be talked up all week. We will be talked down, suggested as being “cooked”….however Raiders form has been overated. And tonight’s win wasn’t anywhere as great as it seems…..

they player a similar structure to us, but not as good.

If we show up, we will win, comfortably:

We completed at 68% against the best team of the year yet they only managed 4 tries against us, 2 from Blake errors

We missed 35 tackles / 12 offloads.

we still managed 1338m (panthers completed at 83%)

raiders completion rate was 80% and let 4 tries in against a lessor side tonight

45 tackles / 12 offloads . And made 1436 (storm complete.

while their last couple of wins have been against very average sides….

if we lose BA future is definitely at risk at the eels….

obviously history under BA hasn’t been kind in week 2, but this game is ours to lose…

I think we’ll be fine tbh.

our forwards need to aim up and Moses need to play. If that happens we win.

they don’t pose the kicking threat of Penrith or storm, which will make Waqa happy.

i wouldn’t drop Waqa. He’s been more than solid in most games and is very unlikely to have such a bad night again. We’re not going to bring Russell in who hasn’t played since round 1 - it just won’t happen.

our bench needs a tinker. Carty or brown must be there for Arthur, and ideally both in with Maka out.

need sharks to win, that would give us a Sydney based prelim where we’ll dominate the crowd numbers

I think Canberra's biggest strength is negated by Junior and RCG.

Their starting middles played 68 ( tapine 216m) and 57 (papa 168 m) mins….and their starting edges played 80 but neither made 100 (close but not)……

our middles made RCG 49 mins (152 m) Paulo 59 mins (166 m)

not sure what that all means but…

The game is there to be won. If Moses plays then we shouldn’t have an excuse. There young fullback has mistakes in his game. He should be targeted.
