Im sure he does! Do you know how the concussion protocols work? I have no idea.
The concussion protocols involve answering some recall questions and then comparing them to their pre test scores.

They also need to satisfy / answer a lot of questions about how they are feeling physically, eg. headaches, ability to sleep, irritability, etc. A lot is based on how they feel, so Reed telling @emjaycee he feels fine is a good start.

From what I can gather Matto was satisfying all the recall tests but then close to the game was indicating that some of those physical signs were occurring which is why he was getting named earlier in the week and then getting pulled closer to the game.

Here you go...Take the recall part of the test (some of those first general questions are altered to be specific about the footy game they are playing, eg opponents, venue, who scored last, etc:

And a bit more reading of what happens immediately:

@hindy111 hasn't been concussed for 20 years but still keeps failing that test.

Yep. But I think you only have to beat ur pre test score. Players would for sure throw their pre test. The alternate numbers are used if they get the sequence wrong the first time.

Really didnt expect we would see JA in first grade in 2021 unless we had a crazy injury toll.

I can assume BA would have his son's best interests at heart, so therefore he must be ready. Debuting someone too early cant stunt development, and i cant see BA risking that with his own son - so thats a positive outlook for me.

I'm also in the rare group that actually thinks Waqa back is a great thing. I trust some of his defensive reading and communication has been worked on in the last 7 months since we really saw him play a full game. Niukore has been great but we miss Waqa's base, and so many half breaks have amounted to nothing when regularly Waqa would have had the pace to be in support.
Blake played in round one.

Perhaps getting injured and seeing how good niukore was might give waqa the rocket he needed that his place in the team should not be considered automatic.
It's automatic because of how much he's on. Because he's on a top 17 salary we're not going to go out and sign someone better than him at his position. That would be poor cap management.

Or are they trying to highlight the inconsistency of the NRL position on bubbles. Jakob can't train til Saturday or whenever, coz he's outside the bubble. But he lives with the coach who is inside the bubble. Could be a Bubble Boy.

Decent team list considering. Despite the disruption of 4 of the named 21 not being able to train with the rest until Saturday, we'll be fine...
