N.Brown we are trying to move on still. Currenlty we have 2 spots spare in top 30. 3 if get rid of him.

I am hoping Yates gets the 14 after tonight's game. He covers Hodgson and can play some lock if needed.

Nobody wants him, which is why he doesn't have one of the 510 top thirty spots available in the NRL. He looks ordinary to me. What did he do that so impressed merkins today? His one run for two metres, or the magical 'looked dangerous' that is worth f**k all to the result of a game?

He did a tad more than our usual 14 tonight.

Filled in well defence was fine and passing game was good for someone who could play 10 minutes a game.

I disagree. Arthur defended at 100%, forced a dropout and put a player through a gap. Yates defended well enough but otherwise what did he do? Maybe he 'looked fast'?

JA was playing the halfback role not the replacement hooker.
He also should not be used as a 14 again.

Why not? He defends well in the middle and can also cover the halves. That’s more than Yates can contribute.

With Hodgson coming to the club we have gone all in on playmaking from dummy half rather than just running after a quick play-the-ball.

I wonder where Poupou Escobar will hide when Brad Arthur follows through on his commitment at the end of last year to not play Jake from teh first grade bench, and instead give him plenty of reggies time?

Will Poupou Escobar admit he's been wrong or full of shit? Or will he just attempt to swing behind any new bench selections/tactics in hindsight, and pretend to argue that he agreed with the coach's upcoming shift from last year all along....
