He and Grothe Snr are the best Eels wings Ive seen in my 60 seasons of watching our Eels. If forced to select the best it would be Semi based on Grothe being a bit injury prone not unlike Matto now days. Both great though.

Used to be so good as soon as you saw him catch a ball and watch him look up and see there was bit of space in front of him… you just knew the merkin could run 90 to score
