Happy to see Blaize get dropped (to the bench at this stage), as without injuries he is not in our first choice backline this year without further development in Cup.

Very f**king happy to see Lussick get dropped to cup. f**king BA with his blind faith in personal favourites. Hands should do a fine enough job, and played 80mins on occasions last season all of which were better imo than any game Lussick has played for us.

Understand why Ofa was chosen to cover Hopgood's middle spot while he's on origin duty. We'll be weak off the bench in the middles as a result - so I can see why Greig has been recalled to the 17, along with Makatoa being retained. Happy to see Lane remain on the bench and be passed over for edge starting duties too, and expect he'll be used in the middle too at some point, a la Matterson.

Is he though? Yes he gets isolated and can come in and create an overlap if he doesnt get the ball carrier, but when he does make a tackle, it normally sticks.
IMO, his only real weakness when compared to many other wingers is his lack of power/speed when hitting the ball up on a kick return. Sure this is important but we need to learn to compensate for this as a team if we want the advantages he does bring.

Our best first grade option at dummy half has been playing 6 in NSW Cup. The genius footballing mind of Bea Arthur at work.

I dont think thats the case as my memory has it everyone who was apart of our squad in 2022 was vaccinated as we didnt have to apply for any exemptions like other teams when having to go to QLD for a short period of time.

Canberra & Josh Papali'i was one that sprung to mind. Where they had to go the NRL to get an exemption.

Bryce Cartwright even changed his tune from when it all started.
